Are you looking to dry hire a venue and provide your own catering?

Buile Hill Park Hall and The Court House, Worsley are both available for self-catered events Monday to Friday and also on a Sunday.

This does not apply to Saturdays nor does it apply to Sundays prior to a Bank Holiday Monday.

The hire includes the use of halls and kitchens, tables, chairs and cloths. The kitchen will be supervised and we will provide one steward for the duration of the actual event.

The room hire charge is based on nine hours hire, which includes access to the kitchen and to dress the room. The nine hours rate is the minimum charge. To hire one of our venues for longer than nine hours, to finish no later than midnight, this will be charged at the pro-rata hire charge.

Additional charges

Bar

If the hirer would like the bar to be open there is an additional charge of £25 per hour. If the hirer purchases wine to the value of £500 or more from us then we will waiver the charge for the bar to be open.

Customers are not permitted to bring their own alcohol onto the premises. Soft drinks may be brought onto the premises by prior arrangement.

Ceremony

If a change around of the room is required from a ceremony to cabaret style there is an additional charge of £150.

Master of ceremonies

A member of our staff can act as your Master of Ceremonies on the day at a cost of £100. They can introduce the newly married couple into the room, announce the meal, grace and speeches and the cake cutting.

Bond

A bond of £500 is required 28 days before the date of the event. This bond will be returned as soon as possible when the management is satisfied that no further costs have been incurred.

Equipment hire

If you or your caterers would like to hire cutlery, crockery, glasses and kitchen equipment from us the details are as follows:

  • Please download the list of equipment available.
  • All items will be hired out in units of 25 and multiples thereof.
  • Two trained members of staff will be provided to wash the hired equipment if that hire charge is more than £200.
  • Numbers exceeding 200 covers may be made up of two different crockery styles.

Making a booking and deposits required

Once you have contacted us to see if your required date is available we can hold a provisional booking free of charge for a period of 14 days.

A booking form shall be sent to you and is to be completed and returned within the 14 days along with 50% of the hire charge.

The balance of the hire charge together with the bond is to be paid no later than 28 days before the date of the function.

Please note

  • 18th birthday parties are not permitted at any of our venues.
  • Self-catered events are not permitted on a Saturday
  • Self-catered events are not permitted on a Sunday prior to a bank holiday.
